Position Summary:
The Cayuga Museum of History and Art in Auburn, NY has long been a favorite historic site for the vibrant community of Cayuga County. Since 1936 the museum has been open and today, the museum operates through three separate historic buildings. The museum's unique mission of art, history, and science shapes everything we do, from public programs to exhibitions.
The Museum is seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Museum Educator. This part-time position is currently funded for March through December 2025, with the primary goal of coordinating and expanding our youth and family education programs which include field trips, after school programs, summer camps and tours.

Additional Details:
This is a part-time position that is currently funded from March-December 2025 and is paid $20/hour. Personal time, holidays, and sick time are included.
Employment Dates: March 4 – December 27, 2025 (Dates can be relatively flexible)
Schedule: 20 hours per week, Tuesday – Saturday, some evenings required, with the exact schedule
determined monthly based on program schedule.
