This position will lead the development and growth of the museum and historical society, managing a capital campaign and expanding the facilities, exhibits, and services of the historical society. Position Purpose:
The Executive Director is primarily accountable for leading and managing the overall operation and success of the Society under the general guidance of the Board of Trustees.
Principal Accountabilities:
Consideration will be given to candidates having proven experience in at least one o fthe following areas: Degree in History; Experience in a Historical Society or Museum; Leadership & fund-raising; storage of artifacts and community outreach.
