Visitor Services Associate

Visitor Services Associates are responsible for providing outstanding visitor services in the ‘front of house’ areas of the museum. As the face of the museum to our visitors, the ideal applicant will have excellent visitor service skills and be excited about local history. Associates may also assist with other projects related to museum education and promotion as assigned.

Duties include:

• Opening & closing the museum
• Answering calls and monitoring the galleries
• Conducting admission and store sales
• Introducing guests to the exhibitions and answering questions

Hours: Part-Time, 11:30 am – 4:30 pm
Pay: $16 per hour.
Available days: Wednesday, Thursday, and operates as a substitute for Friday/Saturday/Sunday as needed.
Seasonal position, mid-May through mid-December
