The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, America’s first flying museum of vintage aircraft, is seeking an Executive Director with a strong Development background. The Director reports to the Board of Trustees and is responsible for the overall operation, with a special emphasis on development and economic growth. It includes administration, ticket revenues & donations, marketing & communications, financial oversight, operations of Air Shows and Events, human resources, and facilities. The Director coordinates maintaining the Collection and works with the appropriate Board committees. The Director initiates and maintains relationships with educational institutions, community groups, and aviation-based organizations. He or she develops and presents programing to advance the Aerodrome mission to the public. This is a full-time position with a concentration in the run up to, and actual air show season of, mid-June to mid-October. Requirements: Demonstrated experience in revenue growth, excellent management and interpersonal skills, experience in marketing & communications, exceptional organizational ability, general computer skills, and an understanding of the use of websites and social media.  A post-secondary degree and an interest in history and education is highly desired.
