Collections Consultant

Our organization seeks to hire a consultant who will teach, train and supervise volunteers and paid interns, particularly historically underrepresented students to process a collection of 11,000 artifacts relating to Albany area Black History. It is expected that this is a multiyear program, and to result in several deliverables (besides the catalog and archival preparation) including: the development of talks and programs; published articles; and a report that details the efforts undertaken as part of the grant program.
